Angela Deem Denies Photoshopping Skincare Pic

90 Day Fiancé star Angela Deem denies using Photoshop or filters after her recent no-makeup selfie on Instagram was criticized by fans.

Iconic 90 Day Fiancé cast member Angela Deem slammed those who mocked her no-makeup Instagram selfie. The Georgia woman rose to fame after her first TLC appearance on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 2. Back then, Angela was looking for love after a failed marriage and found it in Nigeria after Michael Ilesanmi, a man half her age, messaged her on Facebook. The ups and downs of Angela and Michael’s relationship have been a part of several 90 Day Fiance seasons and spin-offs so far. In her latest appearance, Angela waited for Michael to arrive in the United States and showed off her 100-plus pound weight loss.

But Angela’s post weight loss surgery look did not get the reaction she wanted, either from fans or Michael. Both somehow preferred the Angela who was loud and feisty and did not get one plastic surgery after another. While Angela started off her fitness journey by getting a gastric balloon operation, she revealed her new breast implants while flashing to the cameras during the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6 Tell-All. Fans noticed how Angela did become slim but did nothing to take care of her skin or body by eating healthy, exercising or giving up smoking. In her newest Instagram post, Angela finally spoke about focusing on skincare for the first time publicly.

However, the before and after photos of Angela were criticized because they looked like the result of filters and fillers and not moisturizing lotion. Some critics claimed Angela was fooling them by posting photos taken on the same day and not 60 days apart. But Angela shared the zoomed-out versions of the pictures again on Instagram while asking, “Can’t you all just be happy for a girl taking care of herself???” She explained that the “before” picture was from March and that neither of the photos have been “photoshopped or filtered.” She claimed she had different jewelry on in both the pictures while also having different lighting and backgrounds.

Regarding the filler accusations, Angela revealed that while she did get Botox in March, “if your skin on the outside is not being taken care of, then it won’t look as good.“According to the 90 Day Fiancé star, she’s never tried expensive skincare before, so she wanted to see if the brand she was promoting in the post worked for her.“I told them I wanted to pay them for the set because I don’t like getting things for free,” added the honest Instagram influencer. She also confirmed that she did not get a facelift yet but might get one in the future. As of now, she wants to focus on taking better care of her skin. “I feel more confident and happy too as you can see in my eyes!” Angela confessed as she thanked the few fans who support the 90 Day Fiancé villain no matter what.

Angela undoubtedly believes in the mantra of “haters gonna hate.” Yet when it comes to responding to those who call out her every move, she doesn’t hesitate before correcting them in her own way. What Angela does or doesn’t do to her skin or body is her own choice. It’s unfortunate if she has to defend what she’s posting about her own skin on her personal social media page. Regardless, she has been one of the most-talked-about cast members ever in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. And whatever she does, be it good or bad, it’s something that’ll never fail to make headlines.
